So this weekend I attended the “end of season” meet in Detroit’s Belle Isle Park, put on by a crowd from the Woodward car scene, among others. Here’s a brief dump of the pics I took for your Monday afternoon procrastination.

Approximately (according to faceballs) 1,000 people went, and there was something for everyone, that’s for sure!

Me? I’m a subaru guy so expect plenty more WRX/STIs below.

I still prefer World Rally Blue Mica over Hyper Blue, personally.

These patchwork camo wraps were a pretty common occurence, this hellcat being a more commendable example of it:

Detroit’s car scene is nothing if not eclectic! Only here would you find an S14 a few feet from such a classy hot rod.

Remember what I said about the camo jigsaw wraps? Yeah, I think this might be a sign that they are starting to go out of fashion...

There were many miatas, but this M edition was most miata.

After polestar blue, this has to be my favourite volvo colour.

A Burz is still on my wish list for next car. Even stock, they still look awesome.

It was a pretty good meet. The turnout was very impressive despite it being Detroit in December, chalk that one up to this incredibly mild winter we’re having right now.

Not a bad turnout for this time of year. Still can’t believe its freaking 60 out! At least we are finally getting snow this week, only for it to go back to the 40’s......

It was a fun meet for sure! I was there for a couple hours yesterday, and it was as good as the last one.

True enough, even at slow speeds, I know my Boulevard M50 could hurt someone if I rode it around pedestrians - that’s why I try not to, unless I’m riding through a busy parking lot either finding a parking spot, or departing the parking lot.
